Our regular fees are:
The initial evaluation period, which can last from one to three 60 minutes sessions, is billed at $225 per session.
If you do not have insurance coverage or do not want to use your benefits, and you cannot afford our regular fees, we offer a few sliding scale fee spots based on your income.
A scheduled appointment means that time is reserved only for you. If an appointment is missed or cancelled within less than twenty-four hours notice, then you will be billed directly (either $140, or the appropriate amount according to the scheduled fee, whichever is less) unless you and your Provider agree that it could not have been avoided.
Where possible, your Provider is happy to attempt to accommodate rescheduling a session in lieu of charging the scheduled fee, but please note that this is not guaranteed. For this reason, if you ask for a reschedule with less than twenty-four hours notice of your reserved appointment time and your Provider is unable to accommodate this request for any reason, you will need to either attend your session as originally scheduled or you will be billed directly as per above (either $140, or the appropriate amount according to the scheduled fee, whichever is less).
Additionally, CCP clinicians will grant all clients a 15-minute window from your scheduled session start time to begin your session. If you are not able to begin your session within this 15-minute window, the rest of your session time will be forfeited, and you will be billed directly (again either $140, or the appropriate amount according to the scheduled fee, whichever is less), unless we agree that it could not have been avoided.
Please take note that fees for missed sessions or late cancellations are never paid by insurance companies and therefore you will be directly responsible for the payment for any missed appointments or late cancellations.
We charge our agreed upon hourly fee for other professional services you may need, though we will break down the hourly cost if we work for periods of less than one hour. Other services include: report writing, telephone conversations other than for scheduling appointments, attendance at meetings with other professionals you have authorized, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and the time spent performing any other service you may request of me.
Clients will be given 30-day verbal notice prior to any change in fee structure.

Many of our clients are out of network (have insurance with a company other than BCBS), and they pay us in full at the time of service. CCP then provides them with a monthly “superbill" (basically a statement with diagnostic information) that they provide to their insurance company for out of network reimbursement (usually between 60-80%). You would need to check on your particular policy to confirm what your out of network benefits are. Many clients end up out of pocket no more than their in-network copay.
We will check your BCBS benefits for you and submit claims to your BCBS insurance. Your co-payment is due at the time of service. Please check whether you have met your annual deductible before you schedule your first appointment if you plan to use your insurance benefits. If you have not met your deductible, you will be responsible for payments at the insurance contracted rate until you have met your deductible.
CCP believes that the mutual respect between client and therapist is a cornerstone of the work that we do.
In committing to the therapeutic process as a means of effecting change in your life, you are also making a financial commitment. CCP will always work with clients to address any financial concerns about fees and bills for services provided.
As a result of the pandemic's onset in 2020, we have been unable to adhere to our previous protocol of collecting fees at the time of service.
In order to continue with this necessary protocol, CCP's billing agency, DAS Billing Solutions will begin charging all of CCP's clients' credit cards immediately upon processing of their claims with BCBS (or immediately after a session is reported to DAS if client is Self-Pay, Out-of-Network, or Sliding Scale).
Accordingly, all current and future clients must furnish CCP with a credit card number to be kept securely on file. If are a current CCP client who needs to change your card on file and/or upload a new card, please let either your therapist or Practice Management know directly and we will help you.
